Manali-based filmmaking duo Ronnie and Barty’s journey video blogs cheer up viewers
Most people around the world spent 2020 indoors. The year has been tough for travel video bloggers who depend on to make a living and local businesses who rely on travelers for an income. As lockdown restrictions were lifted from different parts of the country, some travel bloggers not only got back to work, but also took on promoting local businesses and doing their part in uplifting those affected by the pandemic.
One such travel blogger duo are Manali-based Rohan Thakur and Bharti Bahrani. They run a YouTube channel called Ronnie and Barty and their exquisite videos from the Himalayas have earned them rave reviews.
In the past few months, Thakur and Bahrani have traveled to parts of Himachal Pradesh to capture valley views and tranquil sunsets for their viewers while promoting local businesses such as host families. Comments like “You know your videos can be of great help to suicides as they inspire you to live more on earth” and “The calm depends on those who watch your videos” are in the filmmaker’s mind -The duo posted videos widely heralding the current cheer in a rather despicable year.
