Ebook a keep in SA!
Longer travel times and a wider choice of accommodation providers offer consumers more choice and flexibility in booking their stay.
Australians over the age of 18 can secure a $ 100 voucher for a CBD hotel and a $ 50 voucher for a stay in the suburbs or the local area. A separate allocation of vouchers for Interstater will help incentivize travel to South Africa while ensuring that vouchers are reserved exclusively for South Australians.
Premier Steven Marshall today urged South Australians and Australians to go online for access to some of the best accommodation deals, including the soon-to-be-opened Majestic M Suites in North Adelaide.
“With over 300 accommodations across the state offering some of the best time-of-the-year travel deals, South Australians and Interstaters have never had a better reason to book a stay in SA,” said Premier Marshall.
“From the BIG4 Naracoorte Holiday Park on the Limestone Coast for $ 50 a night to the city’s newest hotels, including the brand new EOS from Sky City for $ 499 and Crowne Plaza Adelaide for just $ 99, or the upcoming Majestic M Suites for just $ 99 US dollars – there is something for every taste and budget.
“The first round of coupons earned our state’s economy $ 10 million. Tens of thousands of discounted nightly bookings give people more time and money to spend on experiences like the Naracoorte Caves, the Granite Island Tram or the Adelaide Zoo.
“With an additional round of interstate travelers who we know are in more than just domestic spending, plus the midsummer break and events like the Santos Festival of Cycling and WOMADelaide, that incentive comes at just the right time to further strengthen tourism businesses and create jobs. “
South Australian owned and operated Majestic Hotels & Apartments have included five of their six hotels in the second round of Great State Vouchers, including the highly anticipated Majestic M Suites in North Adelaide, which opens this month.
The Majestic M Suites offers 91 beautifully appointed 1, 2 and 3 bedroom suites with kitchens, laundry facilities and private balconies. Many of the suites on the upper floors offer breathtaking panoramic views of Adelaide and the city.
This latest addition is one of six hotels in the group, which also include the Majestic Minima Hotel, Majestic Old Lion Apartments, and Majestic Tynte Street Apartments
North Adelaide as well as the popular Majestic Roof Garden Hotel in the business district and the Majestic Oasis Apartments in Port Augusta.
Eoin Loftus, CEO of Majestic Hotels & Apartments, said the team is thrilled that the second round will include Majestic M Suites and the decision to extend the offering to international visitors will generate a lot of interest that “is exactly what is after we are looking especially for the significant number of bookings we have enjoyed in the first round from South Australians ”.
“Increased demand and bookings have brought Majestic Hotels & Apartments properties to the fore over the past year. This has been a tremendous help at a time when more locals were out,” said Loftus.
“Inviting interstate guests to this round in time for the midsummer season is exactly what we need to keep the momentum of domestic tourism going, and we are delighted that Majestic M Suites is about to open our doors.”
